The Origins of the Program

As part of Fitchburg Cohort, supported by NewVue Communities, funded by the Center for Community Progress, the group, CRFive, was tasked with developing or funding a creative placemaking program. With every idea they came up with, the question was asked, how do you know this is what the community wants? With no data to back it up, headed by CRFive member and Fitchburg Creative program manager, the group decided to put their funds towards a project that would ultimately survey the public for their overall needs and wants for our community.
